Inventory Manager
With a background deeply rooted in sales, I relocated to the Mt. Holly region a decade ago. In pursuit of my next career opportunity, I researched the backgrounds of numerous companies. CarShop, previously known as CarSense, consistently emerged with stellar reviews from both staff and customers, highlighting its positive, people-first culture. Intrigued, I applied to CarShop among others, yet it stood out with its unique company values. I accepted CarShop’s offer for a position in sales, marking the start of an enriching journey. The company boasts a diverse array of roles, and over the years, I've embraced various managerial positions—from Finance to General Sales and now Inventory. Over a decade later, CarShop has not only met but exceeded my expectations. Every day is alive with energy, presenting fresh challenges that invigorate and inspire. I see tremendous opportunities for growth here—it's simply an exceptional place to work. Reflecting on my time at CarShop, it's clear that joining the team was one of the finest decisions of my life, and I eagerly anticipate what the future holds.
Sales Consultant
Before becoming a part of the CarShop family, my days were filled with substitute teaching, my afternoons coaching middle school basketball, and my nights working at a local gym. This diverse experience was part of a journey towards a rewarding career, which I found at CarShop. Here, I've grown both personally and professionally in a supportive environment that promotes success, and for that, I couldn’t be more grateful.
Internal Service Manager
My automotive journey began in a conventional auto service center, but in 2006, I seized the opportunity to start my career at CarShop (previously known as CarSense) as a technician. A career that has been a rewarding experience ever since. CarShop not only offered me a chance to progress professionally but also entrusted me with the role of Internal Service Manager at the Hatfield location in 2010. CarShop and its team of passionate associates have always kept the culture alive. The Culture is something that you can feel in the air walking into any CarShop location. The dynamic atmosphere of CarShop is echoed across all our locations, reflecting the unwavering commitment to our customers and our team members. And after all these years, the passion hasn't waned. CarShop offers a distinctive work environment that stands out from the rest, truly living up to its promise of being different.
Area Controller
Embarking on my career journey in 2008 as a Delivery Coordinator at Hatfield, I quickly transitioned to a Finance Assistant role. My dedication and skill development were nurtured by committed managers, leading to my pivotal role in launching our inaugural Pittsburgh store's Finance Office. The thrill of establishing new stores continued as I progressed through various positions in Cranberry and Robinson Township, culminating in my current role as Area Controller back in Southeastern PA. Reflecting on over fifteen years of growth and opportunity, I'm grateful for a company that invests in its people and their potential, a philosophy that inspires my ongoing professional evolution.
Sales Manager
My journey in the automotive industry ignited with a memorable experience purchasing my first vehicle from CarShop (formerly CarSense), which inspired me to join the team as a fresh college graduate. I quickly advanced into sales, where I honed my skills for over three years before stepping up as a Sales Manager at our Robinson branch. Later, I embraced the opportunity to lead at the Carshop Cranberry Township location. Every day I continue to carry the passion I had when I started, as well as the core values of who and what Carshop truly does: faithfully providing unequaled automotive value in an open, friendly, and trustworthy atmosphere.
General Sales Manager
I joined CarShop (formerly CarSense) in December 2014, seeking a career change after previously working in furniture delivery. I discovered CarShop through Glassdoor, where I read associates' testimonials about "having fun at work" and attending "special events." At the time, I thought it was an exaggeration—until I accepted a position and experienced it firsthand! From participating in exciting events like The Pittsburgh Great Race alongside my fellow CarShop associates to the day-to-day camaraderie, it's been an unforgettable journey.
I started as a Sales Consultant at our Cranberry location, and since then, CarShop has provided me with countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. My first major step forward came in 2017 when I transitioned to the Finance team as a Finance Manager. After a year, I transferred to the Robinson location, continuing in the Finance Manager role. Then, in January 2019, I was given the incredible opportunity to step into a Sales Manager role, and by September 2019, I became the General Sales Manager.
The learning and growth I’ve experienced have been nothing short of amazing, but what I truly cherish most is watching the people I manage grow and take advantage of new opportunities. Seeing their success is deeply fulfilling and keeps me passionate about what I do every day. CarShop has been instrumental in shaping my career and providing my family with a sense of security, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. I am excited to continue this journey, embrace new challenges, and contribute to future successes!
Wheel and Interior Repair
Joining CarShop in 2012 as a lot attendant, my journey quickly advanced to a detailing role within a year, igniting a passion for the craft and its intricate challenges. Pride in my work shines through in the pristine condition of our vehicles, enhancing customer satisfaction and showcasing our inventory at its best. After honing my skills for five years, I explored the technical side as an internal technician before returning to my detailing roots. In 2018, I embraced the opportunity at our Glen Mills location, which led to a new role in wheel and interior repairs. My career at CarShop has been a testament to the boundless opportunities for growth and learning, for which I am immensely grateful.
General Manager
After graduating from Delaware Valley College in 2009, I embarked on my professional journey, seeking a role that would be impactful and allow me to contribute positively. This quest led me to join CarShop (previously known as CarSense) in Hatfield, where I began as a Sales Consultant. Through dedication and a commitment to excellence, I ascended the ranks to Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and ultimately to my current role as General Manager. At CarShop, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, team-driven environment that enhances our customer experience. Our foundation is based on diligence, integrity, and equitable treatment of our staff and customers. Having been a part of this company for over 15 years, I remain enthusiastic about the path ahead.
Pittsburgh Office Manager / Title Clerk
After 20 years in the auto industry, I was ready for a change. My plan was to change jobs and work in a completely different industry. Several friends had purchased vehicles at CarShop (formerly CarSense) and told me about the CarShop Way. Intrigued, I dropped my resume off at the store. I was still contemplating a career change when I received a call from CarShop asking me to come in for an interview. As soon as I walked into the interview, it felt like home. Just a short while later, I received a call offering me the position of Title Clerk. I ended up turning down another job I had been offered and accepted this one. I have been with CarShop for over ten years now, and during this time I was promoted to the Pittsburgh Area Office Manager. As a single mother, I can speak firsthand as to how much CarShop treats their associates like family, and how much they respect our work/life balance. I thoroughly enjoy my job and my team, and I love coming to work every day.
Off Street Acquisition Manager
I began working at CarShop (formerly CarSense) as a Sales Consultant in June 2012 after being referred by one of my best friends. I quickly found that CarShop was everything that she had described: a dedicated team of like-minded individuals united under the shared goal of providing an exceptional customer service experience. I am proud of the work that we do, I love coming to work every day, and I’m honored to work for a company that is your “friend in the business.” I’ve also decided to pay my initial referral forward by bringing six of my friends to work at CarShop; I’d recommend anyone to join the team! From April 2016 to early 2022, I worked as an Inventory Manager, before starting my new role as Off Street Acquisition Manager overseeing multiple facets within our purchasing department. My time at CarShop has taught me many lessons, but the biggest one is that if you pursue your work here with passion and drive, you will have an opportunity to develop a wide array of skills and ascend to places that you might not have thought were possible.
General Manager
Having returned to the Philadelphia region after a move down south, I found myself seeking a fresh challenge after 16 years in automotive sales. A conversation with a friend who was also a CarShop employee piqued my interest as well as learning about the company's commitment to its staff and customers, sealed my decision to join the team. I embarked on my CarShop journey in 2011 as a Sales Manager at the Chester Springs store. My career has since flourished, allowing me to assume various roles and contribute to the success of four different locations. In 2018, I ascended to the role of General Manager at Robinson, a testament to CarShop's principles that dedication, integrity, and a zeal for excellence can lead to remarkable achievements.
Sales Manager
My CarShop journey began in 2016, where I started as a part-time lot attendant, as a fresh high school grad. Along the way, my dedication to automotive excellence and customer connection propelled me from detailing cars to guiding customers on their car-buying journey, and eventually to Finance Manager. In July 2021, I embraced the challenge of helping lead our sales team, as Sales Manager. In this role, I have helped to direct our efforts towards achieving unparalleled performance and consistently exceeding customer expectations. CarShop's high standards and nurturing culture has been the bedrock of my growth, inspiring my ongoing commitment to help propel our collective success.
